Genesis 3:13-15

We are in an exciting sermon series called LOVE CAME DOWN. Last week we talked about the fact that Jesus is the real star of Christmas. He is the centerpiece of why we celebrate this holiday season. We talked about all the Old Testament prophecies that Jesus fulfilled. We learned that there were at least 60 prophecies and hundreds of ramifications of Jesus coming to the earth as a child, suffering on the cross and several other aspects of his earthly ministry. We learned that the odds of just 8 prophecies coming to pass in the way that they happened at the time that they happened in the area of the world where they happened and to that one specific person were one in 10 to the 17th. 10 to the 17th power is 100 quadrillion. 100 quadrillion is the likened to the number of silver dollars stacked 2 feet high covering the entire state of Texas. The woman said, ''The serpent deceived me, and I ate.'' 14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, ''Because you have done this, ''Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, ...
