We're going to talk about more Christmas words - Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, the Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. We're only going to talk about the first three of these words, wonderful, counselor, and mighty God. So today we're looking at Isaiah 9:6. Before we do that today I want to welcome everyone to the Pastor's Class. I know it's a holiday weekend and many of our class members are gone, but others have come to visit. We just want to welcome everyone. We're excited that you're here and we're looking forward to what God has in store for us soon as we look forward to a New Year and a new study in God's word.

Let me just tell you that on the back of your little card there's a place for prayer requests. We certainly want to be praying for you and so please feel free to fill out that request so that we can be praying for you and praying with you about your request in the time to come. I appreciate that so very, very much.

Tuesday night the Lord willing and the weather permitting we're going to be having our Christmas Eve service at 5:00 in the afternoon. So our Christmas Eve will be a candlelight and communion service. It's always very well attended and I hope you can come and bring all of your family with you - or if it's just you, come and be with us. We'll have a great time together with our church family and our friends here at 5:oo Tuesday afternoon on Christmas Eve. So you'll remember that.

Let's go to the Lord in prayer. Father, we want to join our hearts in prayer this morning, just thanking you and praising you for the opportunity to open the word of God. Thank you for this class and Father thank you today for those who are so faithful to attend and faithful to support and faithful to give and faithful, Lord, to pray. And Father we lift up these requests today. We lift up those who at this time of year that may be hurting. ...
