BLESSED. Could we start this message with a declaration? Let's say with a voice of faith: ''I am blessed to be a blessing.'' Now turn to someone and say this: ''I am blessed to be a blessing.'' We are blessed by God with a blessing that comes from Him. Salvation positions us for blessing. When you are positioned through salvation, then your lifestyle of obedience to the voice of God allows God to bless you supernaturally beyond anything you could do for yourself. A ''God blessing'' is unlimited! In our first message, we talked about being positioned for blessing. Today, we will deal with the breadth, the depth, and width of the blessings. The power of blessing is mind-boggling.

Definitions and key verse

Blessed: I am chosen, favored, and deeply loved by God who seeks ways to bless me and use me to bless others. I will freely take all I am given and use it to bless others!

Blessings: The transmission or endowment of the power of God's goodness and favor poured into my life

Genesis 12:2: Then I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great so that you will exemplify divine blessing.

Power of blessing declaration

''Let the power of the blessing of God come upon me and overtake me. Let it invade every area of my life and lift me to another level that is high above my old life and all my enemies. Yes please Lord, bless me now!''

Our text today is Deuteronomy 28:1-14. This is Moses' sermon on covenant life. He lays out the blessing of obedience to the Lord God Jehovah. These blessings can be ours now through Christ and His Spirit in us and on us. We inherit blessings as we obey His voice.
