Philosophers and historians have longed for a time of peace on earth and good will toward men; when all men everywhere - red, yellow, black, and white - would live together as brothers; when there would be no crime, violence, poverty, suffering, or death on this earth. All of those things will come true in the perfect world at the end of the tribulation period after the Battle of Armageddon. Revelation 19 revealed the events surrounding the Battle of Armageddon, both those preceding it in heaven, and those during and following it on the earth. At the end of Revelation 19, Christ came and defeated Satan and the Antichrist. The beast and the false prophet will be thrown into the lake of fire.
"And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
