Heaven's Healer

2 Kings 20:1-6

On this Day of Hope Sunday, you need to know that: Heaven has a healer! He heals broken hearts for we read in Psalm 147.3, "He HEALS THE BROKENHEARTED and binds up their wounds." Heaven has a healer! He heals all our diseases for we read in Psalm 103.2-3, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, WHO HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES,"

Heaven has a healer! We read in Exodus 15.26b, "for I am the LORD, your HEALER" which literally says, "I am Jehovah-Rapha," the God who heals, the God who restores, the God who heals.

Heaven has a healer! He heals bodies and lives and marriages and yes, He also heals nations for we read in 2 Chronicles 7.14, "If My people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and HEAL THEIR LAND," and heal your land."

Heaven has a healer and it's that healing power that I want to talk to you about today. So, take your Bible, God's holy word and turn with me to 2 Kings 20 where we read about a man named Hezekiah who encountered this healer from heaven, who not only healed him, but added years to his life.

And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4 And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 5 "Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, 'Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: "I have heard your ...
