This is a historic day at Fellowship of The Woodlands because we just started our second campus. It's in the Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita area and so we want to welcome everyone who is worshiping from Woodlands Church East. It's pretty amazing what's going on over there. In fact the two services have been packed out and so it's a great day. They are meeting in Atascocita High School. It's just neat to see how all that matters is one more life coming to know Jesus Christ and how God is working. I can't wait to see what He's going to do in Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita area over the coming years through Woodlands Church East. We are now officially one church in two locations. I want you also to give a warm welcome to our international television audience. Cheer for them right now and welcome them in as well. I heard about a dad who went into his five year old boy's room and noticed he was drawing a picture so he ask what he was drawing. The little boy said, "Well, I'm drawing a picture of God." The dad said, "Well, son, no one really knows what God looks like." The little boy confidently looked up at his dad and said, "Well they will when I get done." That's my real hope that by the time we are done with this series we'll all have a clearer picture of who God is and what He wants to do in our lives. That's why I'm starting a new series today that I'm calling God Cubed, Exploring the Trinity. The word trinity comes from a combination of two words. Tri are three and unity. It's because God is three. God is three-in-one. God is one God distinctly revealed in three persons. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Now the word trinity is never used in the Bible, but the doctrine of the trinity exists from the very first chapter of the Bible on. So let's look at Genesis 1:26. "Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, in our likeness ….' " Now I want you to underline the word us and the word our in that verse. Notice God didn't said let Me make man in My image. He said let us make man in our image. That's because God is three-in-one. Then look here at this word God. In the Hebrew the word for God in that verse is Elohim. El is the Hebrew word for God. Elohim is the pleural for God because God existed in creation. The trinity was at creation. God has always existed as one God in three distinct persons. Now in our finite minds the trinity is really hard to comprehend. The trinity seems like a contradiction.
