I. You Must Realize.
A. That God is a refuge for His people. v. 1
1. Continually available. See Hebrews 6:18
2. Thoroughly adequate: "our strength."
3. Readily accessible: "very present."
B. That God is resident among His people. v. 5
1. The God of purpose: "most high." v. 4
2. The God of power: "Lord of hosts." v. 7
3. The God of patience: "God of Jacob." v. 7
Part 20: Celebration
Celebration is the commemoration of a joyous event. In religious terminology it means the performance of a ritualistic ceremony. This Psalm combines the two and shows worship to be a joyous ceremony in praise of God.
