Jeremiah 23:5-6

Mother was in the kitchen and little four old Jack was in his bedroom playing with his two year old sister. And as mother was cooking she heard this blood curdling scream and so she ran into the bedroom and there she saw her little two year old girl pulling Jack's hair, four year old Jack, and he was screaming it hurt so bad. And mother came in and got the little girl to quit pulling the hair and said to Jack, he was mad, and she said "Now listen, Jack you can't be mad at your little sister she doesn't know that, that hurts." So she said "You guys play I? going to go finish in the kitchen." About 2 minutes later she heard a blood curdling scream coming from the little girl and Jack ran out and said "Mom she knows now!" We're in a series on the names of God and we're learning new things. Things we didn't know before but we know now and we've looked at the name Yahweh or Jehovah, the Great I am. We've looked at the name Elohim, the God in Whom nothing is impossible, Who always keeps His word. We've looked at the name Adonai, Master and Owner, we've looked at the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God Who is able to satisfy. We've looked at the name Yahweh-Jireh or Jehovah Jireh as most of us know it, the Lord Who provides the Lord my Provider. And today we want to look at the name Yahweh Tsidkenu, Jehovah Tsidkenu. Now there are lots of names for God in the Bible you know I'm doing this series and we could go for probably the whole year and I could do another name for God and so I'm trying to figure out which ones the Lord really wants me to do. And so I called our Associate Pastor, called him up on the phone, and I said "For this Sunday I'm thinking of doing Jehovah Tsidkenu what do you think?" He said "I don't know that name at all.
