God Will Meet All Your Needs

Philippians 4:14-20

One of the greatest promises of God is also one of the most often repeated promises. And that promise is that God will meet every single one of your needs. That promise is so all-inclusive that every other promise of God fits under its umbrella! You are probably asking, and I'm glad you did, ''What needs does that include? And here's the answer - ALL of them! Isn't that a wonderful answer? In fact, did you know that one of the names by which God identifies Himself in the Old Testament is ''Jehovah Jireh'' which means, ''I am the God who supplies ALL you need.''

So I want you to notice this promise in Philippians 4:19, ''And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.''

Wow! What does that include? EVERYTHING! I mean, talk about a good deal!

So, I want to help you get in on this deal. In fact, I want to help you become very prosperous. Is anyone interested in a deal like that?

Alright, let's begin by defining the word ''prosperous'' in the right way. And the right way is always from God's viewpoint rather than from Donald Trump's! So, true prosperity covers every area of life, every commodity of life, and every element of life.

SEE, you aren't really prosperous in the truest sense of the word, if you are rich in money - but you are not rich in peace of mind! You aren't really wealthy if you have lots of material things - but you are in poor emotional health! Because true prosperity, the size of your bank account, the vastness of your real estate holdings, or the number of bedrooms in your house matters very little if you can't sleep in the bedroom that you occupy!
