The Patience of Faith
David Cawston
Hebrews 12:2

God's greatest commodity is Faith!

He wants to see what we have done with the faith that he has given us.
Luke 18:8
8 "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"(NKJ)

Faith is dynamic. It is not static!
It is something that must be growing or you lose it!
Rom 1:17
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (KJV)

Faith is experienced and developed in the process!
There is learning in the process!

God values the process!

Even as a Church facing a Building Project!
The process is more important that the Structure!
Building the Body takes place!
People exercise faith!
People work together!
People develop relationships.
People learn to value each other!
This requires the patience of Faith!

Three steps in the process of faith!
This process requires patience!

Heb 12:2
2 "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith..."

Story of the withered tree!
Mark 11:20-22

21 And being reminded, Peter said to Him, "Rabbi, behold ...
