Friends, I hope you will listen carefully. This theme has been a great blessing to my own heart. The Mysterious Christ!

You see, we do not see Jesus, We can see our husbands and wives; and sons and daughters and friends but we have Christ in mystery. I do not mean "mysteries" as books and Hollywood produce then I mean God's mysteries, which are REALITIES. Spiritually, we have a union with Christ. We read in Colossians 1:26, "The mystery, which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but is now made manifest to God's saints, to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,"

First of all, he says that this mystery, this hidden truth, was hidden from past ages and generations but now is made known to God's people. All God's born-again Christian people know this truth about the mysterious Christ.

Now what is this about the "mysterious" Christ? Verse 27, "That God would make known this mystery, which is Christ IN YOU, the hope of glory." We are speaking here of the mysterious FACT of the Indwelling Christ.

This is mysterious, but, friends, this is something revealed unto God's saints. It means that we have Jesus living in our hearts now, spiritually and truly. This is not imagination. This is not self-hypnosis. This is an actual fact.

The Living Christ today dwells in a glorified body at the right hand of God. But He also dwells in you and in me and in every Christian. You see, His Spirit is not confined to space or to time, and Christ in Spirit lives in the body, mind, soul, heart, inner being, of every true believer, every person who has truly accepted Him and received Him as Saviour and Lord. The mysterious Christ living IN YOU is your hope of glory!
