Matthew 13:44-47
Our choir and those who lead us always do a magnificent job, but perhaps the
forgotten bunch in our ministry of music is our orchestra. And they add so much. I
want our orchestra to stand up.. Will all the orchestra stand up. They do a fabulous
job. Thank you. thank you.
Hope you have your Bibles open to the gospel according to Matthew, chapter number
1 3. Two verses, three verses, but three very, very important and significant verses.
Matthew 13, 44 through 46. Jesus said;
"The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field which a man found
and hid and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that
field. Again the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls. And
upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and
bought it."
Let's pray together.
Father, thank you for tabernacling among us today. We thank you in advance
for speaking clearly to us through your word. We're grateful for this time of
prayer, this place where we can withdraw from the cares of the world and meet
with you and get answers that will absolutely transform our lifestyles. Father,
in this sacred moment, You speak and let me get out of the way so that Thy
word and Thy truth might be heard, it might be received, it might be
understood. And may we leave this place putting it into practice right in the
middle of our lifestyles. For we pray through Jesus Christ our living, saving
Lord. Amen.
