Tape Seven - Jesus, Heavenly Father's Right Hand

We are excited about people, like Renee and her two boys

amen, amen.
Now, if you take your outline please and follow along as we come to the
message time. Look with me at the scripture in Hebrews 1:1, and please listen as I
read it. "In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets, at many times
and in various ways. But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom
He appointed heir of all things and through whom He made the universe. The Son is
the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all
things by His powerful Word, after He had provided purification for sins, He sat
down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."
This morning as we continue the series on Jesus Christ, the identity of Jesus
Christ, I want us to think of what it means that He is at the Heavenly Father's right
hand. That is His place, that is His position in eternity in heaven. And it is a very
special place.
Last week, as we studied the concept of being a servant,

there were the two disciples whose mother came to Jesus and said, "I just want one
favor, in your kingdom I want one of my sons to sit on your right hand, and the other
on your left."
And the right hand, what does it mean to sit at the right hand? And that's
what we see here today in this message. The place Jesus was given, was at the right
hand of the Father. And what is the significance of that place?
Number one, the right hand is the place of honor, the place of honor.
You know, what I want us to get from this is very simple. The Bible tells me
that the Father in heaven made Christ the heir, the recipient of all ...
