Have you ever had one of those days when
everything goes wrong?

Ex. You know it's going to be a bad day when:
You wake up in a hospital all up and your
insurance agent tells you that your accident
policy covers falling off the roof, out not
hitting the ground;

You call Suicide Prevention and they put you on

Your twin sister forgets your birthday;

Your car horn goes off accidentally and gets stuck
as you follow a group of Hell's Angels down the

Your boss tells you not to bother to take your
coat off;

You put both contact lenses in the same eye.
Maybe you've had a year when everything seemed
to go wrong: Business is down,
the kids' grades are slipping,
you've lost your job,
your health has gone bad,
your taxes went up,
a family member died,
you had to put a parent in a nursing

It has just been a bad year; everything has gone
wrong. What do, you when everything seems to go

We read in Genesis 39 of a fine, godly young man
named Joseph. He went through a period of several
years when everything seemed to go wrong. Let's look
closely at his life once again today and see if we can
learn from him what we are to do and how we are to
respond when everything goes wrong!

What do you do when everything goes wrong? Have
you ever noticed that problems and tribulations come
in bunches like bananas? I mean everything can be
rosy and great, then a whole bunch will fall out of
the tree right on you!

How does the Word of God tell us to respond to
those bunches of bad burdens?
