1. LOVE MAKES A CHOICE.

Fake News: Love is an uncontrollable emotion.

The Truth: Love is a determined decision.

2. LOVE TAKES ACTION.

Fake News: Love is a reaction.

The Truth: Love takes initiative.

''Little children, let us stop just saying we love people; let us really love them, and show it by our actions.'' - 1 John 3:18 (TLB)

3. LOVE INVOLVES SACRIFICE.

Fake News: Love is give and take.

The Truth: Love is giving all.

''This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.'' -1 John 3:16 (NIV)

4. LOVE RISKS REJECTION.

Fake News: Love is safe and easy.

The Truth: Love is dangerous and risky.
