4 Essentials for Your Easter Service

by Cory Mansfield, SermonSearch Staff
Easter is just around the corner. Are you ready for the most attended Sunday of the year?
Now is the time to prepare for the service. First and foremost, let me encourage you to get your team together now. Gather the creatives in your church, whether paid or not, and brainstorm how your church can truly be ready for Easter Sunday. Don’t do this alone. Surround yourself with others, and through prayer, plan a service that brings honor and glory to Jesus, our risen King!
To help you and your team prepare, here are a few essentials that can help you and your team brainstorm your way into a tremendous service.
In this sermon by Jason Dees titled, “Jesus: The Way of Salvation,” we are drawn into the Easter story through Chapter 14 of the book of Exodus. This is the story where God delivers the Israelites from the Egyptians when they cross the Red Sea. Jason does a terrific job of expounding on the fundamental tenant of the Christian faith, that we cannot save ourselves. Only God can save us. Use this sermon to help you craft a message that you can deliver with passion this Easter.

We also offer fantastic media to continue to encourage you through Easter and beyond. Here are a few of our most popular:

He’s Still Risen is personally, one of my favorite videos I have seen. The truth of the resurrection, the excitement, the joy, the global nature of the film, the generational and ethnic boundaries that are crossed brings so much emotion to my heart. Use this to encourage your church to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.

This is a powerful worship song that speaks to God's character, and our identity in Him. It is a powerful choice of a song to sing during your Easter service.

This is a great motion background to use for your worship slides or your sermon slides for your Easter service.
