1 Timothy 4:1-5

Open to 1 Timothy chapter four. The letter of 1 Timothy has six chapters; we covered three of them before Christmas, and we're going to dive into the second half of the book today.

Before we get started, though, I've got to show you a few pictures. This last summer-we always take a special collection during vacation Bible school-and this year the collection was to provide water fountains-drinking fountains-at the Cymbili coffee plantation in Rwanda. And lots of you stepped up and filled those backpacks-I know entire small groups took on dozens of them…And were able to send almost exactly 1,385 backpacks, filled with school supplies-which is enough for the 1,385 students who go to school on the plantation, and that includes paying for the shipping. Isn't that awesome? So thank you for being a part of that. And please keep praying for the people of that plantation!
