Today I want to begin in talking about Our House - Mission
What do you think of when I say Mission? For some of us we think of Tom Cruz and Mission Impossible. If you choose to accept this Mission…
Some think of the military and their ongoing Missions.
Some may think of the Missions that the Catholics established throughout California when they came over from Spain.
Mission: a permanent diplomatic establishment abroad; embassy
a group of persons sent by a church to carry on religious work, especially evangelization in foreign lands, and often to establish schools, hospitals, etc.
Text: Matthew 4:18-22
I. Jesus Lived With A Mission
A. He came to do The Fathers Will John 6:38
1. Jesus was fulfilling his Fathers Will.
2. Jesus showed that his life was wrapped up in his Fathers Will.
3. Jesus was sent!! John 3:17
B. Jesus came to Redeem and Restore mankind.
1. Jesus was sent from the Father for mankind. John 17
2. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Luke 19:10
