Don't Believe Everything You Hear - Even in Church!
Acts 17:10-14

-Trust but verify (with scripture).

-Beware of putting too much trust in . . .
Acts 17:11/ Galatians 1:8-9/ Proverbs 14:12 and 16:25 and 1 Corinthians 4:4/ 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

1) A person.
2) Your feelings.
3) Miraculous signs and wonders.

Some Things Never Change
Acts 17:15-32

-Then and now:
They considered themselves very spiritual.
They loved the new, novel, and trendy.
Tolerance was more important than truth.

- Few people are ever argued into the kingdom.
Acts 18:1-11/ 1 Corinthians 2:1-7/ 1 Peter 3:15-16/ 2 Timothy 2:24-26

-We don't need to be a great orator or have all the answers.
Simply tell your story and doors will open.
