1. Rom. 15:13, NCV I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with much joy and peace while you trust in Him. Then your hope will overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit.
2. Expectation: To have a strong desire and be filled with anticipation and confidence in obtaining what is hoped for and expected.
3. Prayer of expectation: Lord, I believe You are good and You desire to release into my life wonderful, unimaginable, miraculous, great and mighty things. Today I pray with large expectations by the power of the Holy Spirit. Enlarge my vision. Increase my faith. Secure my future.

1. Expectation has been defined as those strong desires that God has placed in our hearts to be fulfilled. We have great anticipation and confidence in obtaining what is hoped for. Joy and peace relates to our life of expectations as stated in Romans 15:13.
2. Joy relates to the delights of anticipation in seeing one's hope fulfilled. Joy is the emotion of expectation. Joy is the emotion evoked by the prospect of possessing what one desires and has high expectations for receiving. All people who have expectations experience the joy of beginning, the joy of the journey and the joy of fulfillment.
