CHOICES. We all have decisions to make everyday. The decision that God is calling you to today is the decision to worship the Lord, to make a choice to rejoice.

Psalm 103:1 A Psalm of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

David tells his soul (himself, his being) to praise the Lord. He makes a decision of his will to bless the Lord and to reflect upon the good things of the Lord. The benefits of his relationship with God:
• forgiveness of sin
• healing in his body
• redemption of a life headed to hell
• mercy and love undeserving
• satisfaction and fulfillment
• renewal and elevation

A good subtitle to my message would be "Hallelujah anyhow." You see, what we don't realize are the benefits of choosing to worship the Lord. Life is full of problems. Job 5:7 says "yet man is born to trouble, as the sparks fly upward." Many of us come in here week after week carrying upon your shoulders the weight of the world. You are faced with fears and worries of all kinds. Life beats us down with what feels like an endless sequence of trials. But in the midst of all our tribulation, God has given us the key to victory in life.

It is called FAITH!

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.

THE VICTORY IS IN OUR FAITH IN GOD!

YOU ARE NOT ABLE, but YOUR GOD IS ABLE!

I CANNOT BUT HE CAN.
