Positioned For The Plus Factor (1 of 3)
Series: Plus Factor
Frank Damazio

Introduction: This series is on the Plus Factor that God desires to place over every person's life. The Plus Factor is the truth that there is an added increase, an advantage, an extra benefit over those God has set His mark upon. How do you get the plus mark over your life? This will be answered and developed as we delve into the "plus" chapter in the epistle to the Ephesians. We will examine the six plus factors as written by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 1:1-23.

He asked them this question: "If I could give you a pill that would make you a gold medal winner in the Olympics, but you would die within ONE year... would you take the pill?" In that poll, some years ago more than 50% said they WOULD take the pill. It was not an edge they won, not an edge they deserved, not an edge for which they trained, not an edge that reflected talent or ability, but a pill that gave them that added benefit.

In September 1988, Dr. Goldman took a more up-to-date poll. He took it among world-class athletes in all categories. "If I could give you a pill, and assure you that you would win either a gold medal or a world championship---but you would die within FIVE years--would you take the pill?" Of the 197 people who were asked the question, 108 said they WOULD take the pill. They wanted the kind of plus factor that the pill could give them without any extra ability or any extra effort. And they were ready and willing to sacrifice their lives for it!

To be positioned is to be placed in proper relationship to something else.

1. A plus mark is set over our life which brings an added extra, a benefit plus, an overshadowing of every aspect of life with the great blessings of God both spiritually and physically ...
