Introduction: Even as there are seasons of storms, high winds, and floods in the natural, there also seasons of storms in the spiritual. The spiritual realm is filled with movement and spiritual warfare. We are called to go deeper with God, put our roots down, and grow strong in the midst of it all. Life is about more than what can be seen on the surface, the tangible and natural realm. Going deeper will make us stronger and enable us to give all to God. Our past, our present, our future, we leave everything in God's hands.

I. THE STRONG PERSON

A. STRONG PERSON PROFILE

A strong person is a person who is marked by great strength, moral power, and abundant resources. This person is superior in faith, prayer and passion, forceful when moving forward against obstacles, and tenacious and tough when fulfilling God's will.

B. STRONG SCRIPTURES

1. 2 Chronicles 16:9 The Lord searches all the earth for people who have given themselves completely to him. He wants to make them strong. (New Century Version)

2. Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my protection, my Savior. My God is my rock. I can run to him for safety. He is my shield and my saving strength, my defender.

3. Psalm 18:32 God is my protection. He makes my way free from fault.

4. Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord's help. Be strong and brave, and wait for the Lord's help.

C. STRONG PRAYER

Almighty God who gives strength to the weak and upholds those who fall, fill me with Your strength and courage to go through deep waters, to overcome all obstacles, to resist the devil, and to fulfill my destiny. Let Your grace cover my life, and Your hand be strong upon me.
