Introduction: Psalm 84:7 says, "They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion." We go from strength to strength because our strength is in Almighty God. We pass through our valleys but we turn them into a fresh spring of water. We are the strength-to-strength people increasing in victorious power. We are also a people who are strong in worship. Worship is for God but it is also for you. Passionate worship allows God's presence to overflow you with His love and healing, lifting you up and filling you afresh. Worship is for our recovery, restoration, reviving, redemption, and refreshing.
I. STRONG WORSHIP
A. STRONG IN WORSHIP PERSONALLY
A person who is strong in worship worships God with all their energy and strength, holding back nothing. They worship with abandonment and passion, loving God with deepest affection.
B. STRONG IN WORSHIP CORPORATELY
1. Strong Worship Service: Our worship is strong when all people worship with all their might, strength, and passion, and when the focus is to please God and to invite His power and presence to be released among us.
2. Strong Worship Flow: Strong worship is heartfelt, enthusiastic, expressive, satisfying, loving, and passionate. It involves the total person, is free-flowing, joyful, dynamic, life-changing, Holy Spirit-anointed, and presence of God-filled.
3. Mark 12:30 And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment. (Amplified Bible)
