Today, I am beginning a brand new series of messages called "Growing Strong". You know, we have many, many people who have just been born into the family of God this past week through our men's dinner, through our outdoor extravaganza, and through Beyond Death's Door.
Around 175 people, men and women have accepted Christ as Savior. Thank God, last week as we saw people come, we saw entire families (husbands and wifes, mothers and daughters, fathers and sons) come. It was just wonderful, amen!?
Aren't you thankful for what God did? Now… AMEN! Give the Lord a hand! I tell you, because only God can do something like that! Only God can do that! That is not the work of man; it is the work of God. We are just His vessels.
Now, what we want to do is be faithful to the Lord and take advantage of the opportunity that He has given us and the responsibility that He has given to us as a church to nurture and grow and help develop all of these new believers in their faith in the Lord.
So, I want to preach for several weeks on some of the basics of the Christian life and what it takes to grow in the Christian life. So, Growing Strong! Part one is "by evidencing your salvation".
