I want you to take God's Word and turn with me please to I Peter 3:18 as I speak today about "The Victorious Christ."

1 Peter 3:18-22 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him."

Now the greatest news this world has ever heard was told to this world in a graveyard in the city of Jerusalem, He is not here, but He is risen as He said. Jesus Christ is alive from the dead. Someone said once about San Jacinto in derision. San Jacinto Baptist Church is nothing but a pep rally for Jesus. Well, folks, I want to tell you, I would rather have a pep rally for Jesus than a funeral for Jesus, amen? My Lord is alive. My Lord came out of the grave. My Lord is on the right hand of God. My Lord is on the throne. We have a living Savior. I want to tell you, Jesus Christ is alive and it is a truth that history cannot repeat, a truth that time cannot erode, and a truth that science cannot explain. Jesus Christ came out of the grave and He is alive forever more.
