a- Chapter 1 ....The 1st Mark is: Your Perseverance!

c- Chapter 3 .... The 3rd Mark is: Your Power!
d- Chapter 4 .... The 4th Mark is: Your Peace!
e- Chapter 5 .... The 5th Mark is: Your Purpose!
.... James told us that the greatest challenge a mature believer will face as they fulfill their purpose will be the stuff (the possessions ) of this world!
.... James tells us that we will have to go through periods of waiting to fulfill our purpose .... and he shows us how to do that.

(B) You spend a lot of your life .... waiting!
1- As a small child .... you can't wait to go to school!
.... then you can't wait to get out of school .... then you can't wait to fall in love .... then you can't wait to get married .... then you can't wait to get a job .... then you can't wait to have kids .... then you can't wait to watch your kids grow .... then you can't wait for retirement.
2- We spend a lot of time waiting and anticipating ....
3- We wait in traffic .... in the grocery store .... in doctors' offices.


-- Have you noticed how long we wait when we go out to eat?
-- We wait to be seated .... for the menu .... to place our order ... for our food .... for the check .... for the opportunity to pay the check ....

-- And the restaurant has the audacity to call the one who serves us -- The Waiter.
-- We do the waiting.


4- There will be times when waiting is painful .... facing a bad work situation .... an intolerant boss or overwhelming pressure.
