Colossians 3:15-17

INTRODUCTION: In Col. 3:13-17 Paul outlines four spiritual motivations for godly living. It is so evident that the centrality of this living is Jesus Christ. He is the centerpiece of Christianity.

NOTE:

1. We forgive because Christ forgave us. 13
2. It is the peace of Christ that should rule in our hearts. 15

"He Himself" -- emphatically emphasizes that Christ

"Peace of God"

Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You."

Philippians 4:6-7, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surp ...
