The Love Affair In Ephesus by Ronnie Floyd

"THE LOVE AFFAIR IN EPHESUS"
Acts 20:17-38

INTRODUCTION: Ephesus was one great city with a large popu-
lation. It morally riveted the wickedness of Corinth. Re-
ligiously, it was grossly immoral with the worship at the
Temple of Diana or Artemis, which was one of the seven won-
ders of the world. This temple was a sanctuary for crimi-
nals, a bank, and the home of a prostitute ring.
But who was involved in the love affair in Ephesus?
Fornicators with prostitutes, Priscilla and Acquilla? NO
The love affair was a t the fellowship or church at Ephesus
Paul stayed there three years.
T.S.: The model love affair in a fellowship was at Ephesus.
Since God wants his people to be in love with one another

4. The nonsense of Demetrius, the god-maker.(21-41)
God's hand mightily worked in the city of Ephesus

App: Love cannot exist in a church where God is e doin
mighty works. When God is not moving our attention
in on ourselves and others, But when God is moving
ALL EYES FOCUS ON HIM.
When God moves our fellowship is deepened: We share
common things with one another."I remember when"
When Jesus steps into the fellowship of a church,
all bickering, murmuering, selfishness, criticizing
will cease. So if we want a love affair here among
us Jesus must move into our lives.
2. THE MOOD OF FELLOWSHIP.(20:17-27)
