Our message this morning is from Joshua chapter 24 and if
you have your Bibles, will you look with me please from
God's word in the 24th chapter of the Book of Joshua. And
in reverence to the scripture, will you please stand with me
as we read together from the of God.
This reading this morning today comes from the New American
Standard Translation, and if your will, look with me to the
word of God. The Bible says, "Now therefore fear the Lord
and serve him in sincerity and truth. And put away the gods
which your father served beyond the river and in Egypt and
serve the Lord. And if it is disagreeable in your sight to
serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will
serve, whether the gods which your father served which were
beyond the river or the gods of the Amorites in whose lands
you were living. But as for me and my house, we will serve
the Lord."
