Series On "HOW TO BE A WINNER"
"You Can't Keep From Winning"
For the past eleven weeks we have preached on 'HOW TO BE A WINNER" from
Romans 6,7.8. It appears that in Romans 8:31-39 that the Apostle Paul
reminds us of all he had said in Romans 6,7,8. All the concepts related
result in spiritual victory or winning.
When you have read Romans 8:31-39 you really come away excited that
winning is a realized goal in the Christian life.
There are seven questions in our passage today. I want to reduce these
seven questions to one- question and it is, "Why can't you keep from
winning?" There are four major reasons that you can't keep from winning
in this passage.
1. GOD IS FOR YOU. (31-32)
"Say to these things?" - I respond "Hallelujah"
"If God is for us" - God is the self-existent one who always was,
is, and is to come.
"Who can be against us?" - Satan, demonic forces but can't win!
God is for us to the extent He did not spare His own Son.
Since He gave us Jesus He freely gives us everything to make us win.
Comfort, support of another's presence.
Lonely? Depressed? Marriage about to end? Contemplating suicide?
Unable to pay the bills?
God is for you! Since He is for you, nobody is able to keep you from

2. JESUS CHRIST IS PRAYING FOR YOU. (33-34)
Who is foolish enough to accuse God's elect?
It is God who sets people in the right!
Who is foolish enough to condemn?
Jesus Christ is the only true Judge!
Jesus Christ died - raised - righthand of God - praying for you!
Pas, two weeks ago- you said. the Holy Spirit is praying for me!
