"Winning When Christ Comes Again"
The first time Jesus came - following 0-ed to winning
The second time He comes all who have followed Him in faith, without
seeing Him will win when Christ comes again.

I. WHEN CHRIST COMES AGAIN OUR SUFFERING WILL CEASE. (v. 18)
"Sufferings" - present troubles, temporary afflictions
"glory" - Jesus is glory - His presence is glory!
John 1:14 says, *And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten froi the
Father, fill of grace and truth.*
2 Corinthians 4:17 says, For .onentary, light affliction is producing
for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.'
The teaching of verse 18 is when we look at our sufferings in this
-life and the future glory of God our sufferings are incomparable to
the glory of God.
Our sufferings will cease when Jesus Christ comes again.
II. WHEN CHRIST COMES AGAIN THE SONS OF GOD WILL BE REVEALED.(vs. 20-22)

(v. 19) "Anxious longing of the 6\ '.in" - "strained expectation
- the picture that all of nature or creation, animated or
inanimate, is personified as waiting the Sons of God to be reveal(
(v. 20) Why is creation awaiting so eagerly? Creation - futile,
frail, frustrated, also knows it has something to gain.

ultimately be transformed. r
