Jesus' Plan For Us To Pray by Ronnie Floyd

JESUS' PLAN FOR US TO PRAY
1990 PRAYER PLAN
DR. RONNIE W. FLOYD
I. MOMENTS OF MEDITATION.
Why Should I start my day out praying for one hour?
(1) To be like Jesus.("And in the morning, rising up a
great while before day, he went out, and departed
into a solitary place, and there prayed." Mk. 1:35)
(2) I Need to Learn How to Pray.("... One of his disci-
ples said to Him, 'Lord, teach us to pray just as
John also taught his disciples." Lk. 11:1)
(3) To Shape My Day in the Right Way.("In the morning, 0
Lord, Thou wilt hear my voice; In the morning I will
order my prayer to Thee and eagerly watch." Ps. 5:3)
II. MY MODEL FOR PRAYER.
"Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed by thy
name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our
debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deli-
ver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the
power, and the glory, forever. Amen." Matt. 6:9-13)
