"THE CONDITION OF THE HUMAN HEART"
A MINI-SERIES ON THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST
MESSAGE #3
1 TIMOTHY 4:1-2; 2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5; 4:3-4
DECEMBER 9, 1990
INTRODUCTION: The latter days or last days in Scripture sig-
nify the days between Christ's first coming and His second
coming. We are living in the last days today. Days just
prior to the coming of Jesus. I believe Jesus is coming
again because of the condition of the church, the condition
of the world, and because of our subject today, "The Condi-
tion of the Human Heart."
1 Samuel 16:7 says, "man looks upon the outward appearance,
but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Corinthians 2:10 says,
"The Spirit searches all things." This means even the human
heart.

Word and His Way. We call this apostasy.
God says this is illustrated through giiving in- to
spirits of seduction and spirits of demons. The
enemy attacks the human heart in the sensual and
the demonic.
Ill: The death of John Lennon, former member of the
rock group called the Beatles, was slain in 1980.
The killer by the name of Chapman spoke out this
week for the first time. He said . . .
App: God says that we will see a picture of apostasy,
people abandoning what they profess to believe.
