Dr. Death Of Dr. Life by Ronnie Floyd

John 8:21-30
March 29, 1992
Before the death of the great Christian scholar, author, and
leader, Dr. Francis Schaeffer, he gave us the following warning.
If the pro-abortionists are successful in their goal of ending
the lives of the unborn, then the next thing that will become
commonplace in America is euthanasia which is the act of
mercy killing or painless death in the midst of suffering.
We have recently seen this prophetic word be fulfilled when
a recent medical doctor has engineered a 'suicide machine!'
to give opportunity for patients to end their own lives or to
manage death. This medical doctor is now referred to as,
"Dr. Death." You see, now that the American conscience
is hardened to the death of million of unborn babies, the
American conscience is becoming hardened to helping people

Death is not an easy topic to discuss. Epitaphs on
tombstones are sometimes interesting, sometimes humorous,
and sometimes very sad. For example, on the Massachusetts
tombstone of Jonathan Pease the following is inscribed:
"Under the sod and under the trees,
Lies the body of Jonathan Pease.
He is not here, there's only the pod
Pease shelled out and went to God."
On Dwight L. Moody's tombstone is inscribed, "He that
doeth the will of God abideth forever." On a tombstone
in Kansas is inscribed, "I told you I was sick . . ." On a
New Hampshire tombstone is inscribed, "I don't know how
to die."
Let me introduce you today to two persons and their
philosophies of death and life. Dr. Death is not some
medical doctor in America. Dr. Death, the real master
of death, is Satan . . . the devil . . . the one who exists
to steal, kill, and to destroy.
Dr. Life is not some medical doctor who is pro-life, but
is Jesus Christ . . . the Son of God . . . the one who exists
to give eternal life and abundant life here on this earth.
In John 8:21-30 we learn of ...
