Hebrews 11:1-6
INTRODUCTION: Once there was this church that began to grow
due to a population growth in their area. Three deacons and
the pastor met. The deacons response about building:
1. Feel 2. Figure 3. Faith
These responses are indications of our church.
Our church, especially every Christian in this world, must
determine which world we are going to operate in and accord-
ing to which principles. There are two worlds that we as
Christians can live in: The natural world or the supernatural
Ill: Let us look for a moment to the end of his-
tory. If you do not know it . . . Jesus wins! The world ends
in disaster but Jesus comes and He wins over the world, the
devil, and everything else. We already know, according to the
Bible, Christians are going to win, because Jesus wins. Since
we know who is going to win why don't we play on the winning
team, trying to please the winner, himself, Jesus Christ?
Many Christians live according to the principles of this
world for they and their church, when God wants us to live
according to the Word of God which results in supernatural
happenings in our lives. To play on God's team we must eat,
sleep, walk, and breathe Hebrews 11:6.
T.S: Are you pleasing God? Do you live in the faith world?
Which world are you living in and according to? The natural
world or the supernatural world? What are you presently
trusting God for in your life?
QUICK EXPLANATION OF THE TEXT: There are two worlds: Let's
evaluate each of them to determine which world each of us
are living in and which one God wants us to live in!
A. The ruler of the natural world-(Eph. 2:2, 1 Peter 5:8,
& Eph. 6:12) Satan is the ruler of this natural world.
Those who live according to his principles are the sons
of disobedience.
B. The rules of the natural world-(Colossians 2:8; 1 John
1. Self reigns.
