"I LOVE MY CHURCH!"
In our society today there are many people who have a tentative
view of their local church. People are so governed by selfish
fulfilling of their own needs, that they will change churches
like they change their clothes. The church's theology does not
seem to be of much importance to these people. This is a tragedy
which results in an extremely narrow view of church as well as
lends itself to allowing a very critical spirit to exist toward
the body of Christ. I do not believe any of this is of the
I believe it is time for Christians across America to begin
having a positive and
Christian view of the church. The church should not be treated
like a secular
institution, but like the holy body of Christ that it is.
Therefore, I want each of
you to join me this month in standing boldly in our society and
by saying, "I LOVE MY CHURCH!"
ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 19, WE WILL OBSERVE "I LOVE MY CHURCH"
DAY. This day kicks off the celebration of First Baptist Church
of Springdale's 125th Anniversary. This will be the seventh
anniversary of being in our
