How God Counts: Numbers and Their Meaning

Numbers are used in Revelation in a symbolic way.
I. The science of numbers.
Look at nature.
Scripture tells us that this world speaks of God. God is a God of order -- Decision and Balance
The heavens are run by a mathematical formula.
Astronomers know the movement of heavenly bodies for 1,000 years.
Chemistry, biology and nature itself are mathematical.

**Little Boy -- $3.00 in one Pocket -- $4.00 in the other. What would you have? I would have on somebody else's pants.
II. The symbolism of numbers.
Numbers had a spiritual meaning in Scripture.
Deuteronomy 6:4 -- "Hear O' Israel the Lord our God is one Lord."
Zechariah 14:9 -- "The Lord shall be king over all the earth, in that day shall there be one Lord and His name is one." READ
Ephesians 4:4-6 -- "One body, one spirit..."
We do not worship three gods, but one.
John 8:17 -- "The testimony of two men."
I make a motion; I second the motion.
Old Testament/New Testament -- Witness of God.
Jesus is the second person in the Trinity.
Revelation 1:5 -- Faithful witness.
Two angels at the tomb.
Two angels at the Mount of Olives witnessed to the Man of Galilee.

Jesus sent the 70 out to witness two by two.
3. Holy Trinity.
Matthew 28:19 -- Baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 6: Seraphim cried, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God of hosts."
Holy Son Triunine Person
Man, Spirit, Soul and Body

**Space -- Height, Width, Depth
Earth -- Creation
Isaiah 11:12 -- "..four corners of the earth."
