THE KING IS COMING
DR. JAMES MERRITT
REVELATION 1:4, 20

INTRODUCTION

1. WE ARE GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT A SUBJECT TONIGHT
THAT IS EXTREMELY INTERESTING AND FASCINATING; ONE
THAT WE DEAL WITH EVERY DAY OF OUR LIVES, BUT RARELY
EVER THINK ABOUT. AND THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF NUMBERS.
NOW NUMBERS ARE ESSENTIAL TO EVERYDAY LIVING. WE
REALLY COULD NOT GET ALONG WITHOUT THEM. FOR EXAMPLE,
NUMBERS TELL US HOW OLD WE ARE. NUMBERS TELL US HOW
MUCH WE WEIGH. NUMBERS TELL US WHETHER OR NOT OUR

IN CHAPTERS 4-7 WE HAVE SEVEN SEALS.
IN CHAPTERS 8-11 WE HAVE SEVEN TRUMPETS.
IN CHAPTERS 12-14 THERE ARE SEVEN PERSONS,
IN CHAPTERS 15-16 WE HAVE SEVEN BOWLS.
IN CHAPTERS 17-20 THERE ARE SEVEN JUDGMENTS.
IN CHAPTERS 21-22 THERE ARE SEVEN THINGS THAT ARE NEW.

4. THE BOOK OF THE REVELATION IS IN SEVEN GROUPS OF
SEVENS. NOW THAT IS NOT BY BLIND CHANCE. THAT WAS
RATHER BY DIVINE CHOICE. YOU CANNOT PROPERLY
UNDERSTAND THE BOOK OF THE REVELATION, OR MUCH OF THE
PROPHETIC ...
