INTRODUCTION: The way up is down. It is not your material
resources that take you through the testings of life; it is your
spiritual resources. V.9-l0 is from God's perspective. The
royal Son of God stripped Himself of the glory of His majesty
and voluntarily became the Father's bond-slave.

Test of poverty! Humble position in life.

"Undistinguished" - someone who seems to be of no
importance. A man's life does not consist in the
abundance of things he possesses.
