WE NEED TO LISTEN

attitudes should be when we are angry. Also, James attacks
those who would destroy this fellowship w/i the family of God.

A. SWIFT TO HEAR. l9a
Romans 10:l7; be an ever-eager learner, ever-listening
for the Spirit's voice; listen much; He is talking
about the Word of God.
B. SLOW TO SPEAK. l9b
Two ears and one mouth; we can't listen well when we
are talking. Prayer for us is seldom conversation;
it is usually monologue. We try to tell God what we

anger and He almost killed a man w/his sword.

deep bitterness and a hostile resentment; an attitude
of resistance and rebellion in the heart. Some may
never lose their temper, but it is bad inside. Many
