GOD'S PROVISION FOR CHRISTIAN GROWTH
II Peter l:l-4
INTRODUCTION: The theme of II Peter is Living Faithfully.
Peter writes as a warning to believers, to help prevent them
from falling into the same satanic trap. He passionately
admonishes all Christians to beware of false teachers and to
steadfastly follow the Lord in a life of holiness and obedience.

the name of Christians, we need to study II Peter, absorb its
teaching, and heed its message.
Satan has two main objectives. First, he does all within
his power to keep one from becoming a Christian. Second, if a
person does become a Christian, the Devil does all that he can
to keep that person from living a worthy Christian life. His
task is to destroy either the man, or the man's influence.
