Friends, I have here on my desk some outstanding
current magazines containing articles about the
current war in the Middle East.

It is interesting to understand Egypt and Israel in
the Word of God. What does God have to say about the
future of Egypt and Israel in the prophetic
Scriptures? The Arabs and the Israelis are in a
struggle with Russia backing up the Arabs and the
United States backing up Israel. How is it all going
to end?

One of the wonderful things about the Bible is
Prophecy. Many people do not believe in Bible
prophecy. They pay no attention to it. But I assure
you it is absolutely accurate. I have studied it for
many years and, I tell you, it proves the Bible is the
Word of God. One of the reasons I believe the Bible is
the Word of God is that it predicts the future. It
made predictions of events to come, and they took
place.

Egypt - Isaiah 19

God speaks of the future conversion of the Egyptians
to God, as well as the future conversion of the people
of Israel to God. In Isaiah 11 God speaks about the
conversion of the Egyptians, the day when Israel and
the Egyptians will not only be at peace with one
another but worshipping the same God, the God of the
Bible. The Egyptians will come to know Yahweh, the God
of the Hebrews, the true and living God. The day is
coming when this will be fulfilled.

We read in Isaiah 19:25, "Blessed by Egypt, My people,
and Assyria, the work of My hands, and Israel, Mine
inheritance." This is the conversion of the Egyptians
to the God of the Bible, and of the Assyrians (the
people who dwell in the place of old Assyria) and the
people of Israel.

When we see the enormous conflict that has developed
between Israel and the Egyptians, we wonder how this
could ever happen. But, friends, it is like a man ...
