INTRODUCTION

A. HARRY HOUDINI WAS THE GREATEST
ESCAPE ARTIST KNOWN TO MAN. HE
COULD GET OUT OF ANY SITUATION.
IT HAS BEEN SAID OF HARRY HE HAD
THE FLEXIBILITY OF AN EEL AND THE
EYES OF A CAT. THEY PLACED HIM IN
COFFINS; RIVETED HIM IN BOILERS;
SEWED HIM IN CANVAS BAGS AND THREW
HIM INTO THE RIVER. HE ALWAYS GOT
OUT. THEY LOCKED HIM IN THE
FEDERAL PRISON IN WASHINGTON, DC... IN
THIRTY MINUTES HE HAD
FREED NOT ONLY HIMSELF BUT HAD RE-ARRANGED ALL THE
PRISONERS IN
THEIR CELLS. ONE BIOGRAPHER SAID, "HE COULD ESCAPE
FROM ANYTHING BUT YOUR MEMORY..THE DAY CAME AND HARRY
HOUDINI DIED. HE DID NOT
ESCAPE. HE DIED ON NOVEMBER 29TH, 1936. IT IS
REPORTED
HIS WIFE HELD SEANCES ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF HIS
DEATH ATTEMPTING TO MAKE CONTACT WITH
HARRY. NO CONTACT WAS
MADE.
