Romans 4:13-25

Let's bow for prayer together. "Father, as we open Thy Book, we find a
freshness; we find surprises; we find assurance; we find life. Lord, You
speak in this hour. Let me get out of the way so that Thy Word and Thy
holy and divine message might not only be heard but may it be received and
understood and incorporated into our lifestyles. For we make this prayer
in the strong, holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Lord. Amen."

The-Guiness Book of World Records is hard to put down. Last night my
eleven-year-old son Cliff did sorne research for me. And there's some
amazing things that Guiness has claimed in our modern times concerning world
records. Did you know in modern days the tallest man that's ... we have
record of was Robert Wardlaw who was 8-feet and 11-inches tall. His hand
from the tip of this finger to his wrist was about 12-inches...almost 12-
inches. And his shoe size was 37-double-A. How'd you like to go in and
say, "What wo..." "37-double-A. Do you have anything in the black?" Can
you imagine that?

The oldest living man today is in Japan, and he's a hundred and eighteen
years of age. Ah, oh, the interesting thing was snoring. The loudest snore
recorded was in a England laboratory there in London, and somebody was snor-
ing at about 69-decibels. You know, a..a..a pneumatic drill is from 70 and
90, to show you how loud that can be. It was the loudest snore on record.

You'd be interested to know the heaviest man that we've ... that's ever been

recorded weighed a thousand and sixty-nine pounds. They believe that there

was one woman who would weigh more than that, but she was modest and wouldn't

get on the scales. So ... so that sort of held that record.
