Introduction:
Verse 19 is a picture of God's grace in action.

"Now brothers, I know that it was through ignorance you did it! Just as
your rulers did."

"God is not willing that any should perish." Even men who all their lives
have been against him and even crucified him.

ILL. It would have been entirely justified to have
judgement come on them and wipe them out! But God is
leaving open the door of grace,

Introduction. Verse 12 - The miracle of the lame man.
Theme. 13-18 - He presents Christ! And indites Israel.
Conclusion: 19-26. Repent and be Converted.

One is active/one is passive. If they will turn around and reverse their verdict
about Jesus from blasphemer to the Lord and Savior, God will convert them and
change them!

Here are the notes of heartfelt preaching as Peter preaches as a dying man to

I. IT BEGINS WITH A NOTE OF MERCY AND WARNING COMBINED

Ignorance is no longer possible and there is no longer any excuse for
further rejection of Jesus.

II. REPENT AND BE CONVERTED

Repent - "to change your mind."

ILL. Matt. 21:29-30: "He answered and said, I willnot,
but afterward he repented and did it."

He answered and said, "I go sir, and went not."
