"TOUCHING A WORLD FOR CHRIST"
or
"The Five Finger Spiritual Hand"
Acts 4:23-31

Intro: S. D. Gordon, that marvelous preacher of a
generation ago used to speak about, the believer's
spiritual hand and by the spirit hand he meant the
helping hand that we give to a lost and dying world.

Dr. Gordon described how any believer can touch his
w by getting; a firm grip on the events through
the five fingers that touch and change things for good.

I wonder if you have ever really been aware of how
many times the Bible says Jesus or his disciples reached
out and took by the hand an individual.

Mt. 8:3: Jesus reached out his hand and touched
the man. I am willing, he said. Be clean. Immediately
he was cured of his leprosy."

Mt. 9:18: While he was saying this, a ruler
came and knelt before him and said, My daughter has
just died. But come and put your hand on her, and
she will live.

Matt. 14:31: He told them another parable: The
kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a
man took and planted in his field.

Mark 1:31: So he went to her, took her hand
and helped her up.- The fever left her and she begarn
to wait on them.

Mark 5:41: He took her by the hand and said
to her, Talitha koum! (which means, Little girl, I say
to you, get up:)

Mark 8:23: He took the blind man by the
hand and led him outside the village. When he had
spit on the man's eyes and put his hand on him, Jesus
asked, Do you see anything?

Mark 9:27: But Jesus took him by the hand and
lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.
