ROPES OF GOLD
ROMANS 1: lL1-16
MANY YEARS AGO IN A CITY ON OUR NATION'S EAST COAST
THERE WAS A ROPE FACTORY WHICH MANUFACTURED THE GREAT
DOCKING HALTERS FOR SHIPS - THOSE VITAL, GIANT ROPES THAT
ANCHORED THE SHIP TO THE DOCKING PLACE. OVER THE ENTRANCE
WAY TO THAT FACTORY A MESSAGE WAS PAINTED, "THE WORKER IN
THIS FACTORY WEAVES HIS CONSCIENCE INTO HIS WORK - FOR LIVES
ARE AT STAKE.'
IN THE FIRST CENTURY GOD HAD A MAN WHO LITERALLY WOVE
HIS CONSCIENCE, HIS LIFE, HIS ALL INTO HIS WORK. WHEN HE
