many as received Him to them He gave..."

Giving is an exercise of liberation. It is a demonstration to
self that you are free from any form of selfishness. It is a
revelation to the world that you love others and want to help
provide for legitimate needs.
Jesus Christ said more about money and possessions than about
heaven and hell combined.
In the Gospels, one out of ten verses (288) deal directly with
the subject of money. In the Bible there are approximately 500
verses on prayer, less than 500 on faith, but more than 2,000 on
money and possession. W H Y ?
1.Because: "The love of money is the root of all evil."
2.Because of the necessity of trying to correct the world's
incorrect concept of ownership. What I possess, God owns. When
John Wesley learned that his house burned, he said, "The Lord's
house burned. One less responsibility for me!"
A group was asked what emotion they recalled associated with
money during the previous year:
72% said anxiety, 52% depression, 51% anger.
The group most concerned about money is the 18 - 25 age group.
