... today's core value, as we have two more Sundays including today on our core values, is Expectation, expectation. And how exciting it is to be able to look forward, every week, to what God is doing, and to come with an attitude of expectation.
Our verse of scripture is that of Ephesians 3:20, we'll read that together in a moment. It's first in your outline, or if you want to read it out of your Bible, Ephesians 3:20.
And as I look at the cover of our bulletin, I'm reminded of expectation this morning, that we have some special guests coming that I'm really looking forward to. We have Cody Carlson coming next week, our final core value is Keep on Growing, for K. And Cody and his wife Barb will be here, and he'll be sharing how God really blessed him and used him, when he was quarterback as a Houston Oiler. And it's exciting to hear him look at his career that way, instead of as talking merely about being a football player, but how God truly blessed him and used him, and I hope you'll be here.
Cody and his wife Barb will also be staying through Tuesday, to attend the banquet we're having for Living Water International. And by the way, in your bulletin, there's a place where you could still make a reservation to attend the banquet, we'd love to have those of you that want to be there, and are praying about a generous contribution to that ministry. Cody and his wife Barb are going to stay over for that, and they're praying about going on our mission trip to Africa in April as well, and we're thankful. They live in Austin now, and so they are coming back over for this event.
And then Cleve McClary is going to be here in two weeks. He'll be preaching that morning in both services. Cleve McClary is an American hero. Cleve was blown up, literally blown up in Vietnam. Over thirty operations to restore ...
